“Steampunk Emporium”Art Exhibition

Dust off your top hats, shine your goggles and crank up your difference engines, folks… The Art Foundry at River Station, in conjunction with Meicholas Art Foundation, is presenting an Evening of Steampunk. Imagine a technologically advanced, Victorian Society. Imagine airships, and mechanical computers, and even time machines. Imagine the world that Jules Verne and HG Wells would find comfortable. It is a “Retro Futuristic” world, full of intrigue, art, and fantastical technology. Come, and bring your costumes… there will be prizes for the best ones.

The Meicho Art Gallery is housed in The Art Foundry at River Station, 8130 Fraser Avenue, Fort McMurray.

With special thanks to Liam Construction, for providing the space.
This is a free event, but donations will be gratefully accepted.

STEAMPUNK EMPORIUM: OPEN CALL FOR ARTWORK

The Meicho Gallery is seeking submissions for our upcoming group show, Steampunk Emporium, to celebrate Steampunk culture and art. The exhibition will run from April 8th to May 12th, 2017.

The Meicholas Art Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that believes the arts should be accessible for everyone in order for the community to prosper and for individuals to explore and grow in the arts. We connect arts to the community and the community to artists with the hopes of further developing an appreciation for the arts, and we offer direct support to artists in establishing their professional careers.

The Meicho Art Gallery is housed in The Art Foundry at River Station, 8130 Fraser Avenue, Fort McMurray.

Thank you!
