The Meicholas Art Foundation is a family founded non for profit organization that believes the arts should be accessible for everyone in the community for the community to prosper and for individual’s artistic growth. The foundation was founded in 2016 prior to the wildfire that ravaged through the Wood Buffalo Region and displaced over 80,000 people. Previous to the fire, the artists have expressed their needs for community support and financial viability, in order for Arts and Artists to thrive in our region. Now more than ever there is a need for the arts in a community looking to rebuild and reconnect.
